Our beginners classes were designed specifically for you. These courses will put you in a safe environment with other people at your level, all learning the basics at the same time. You can attend with zero experience or knowledge and will not be at any disadvantage, as the classes and courses have been put together to help you develop and learn.
You will receive all this information when booking but for pole we ask that you have shorts and a vest. Leggings are also allowed, however you may need skin out for grip.
For hoop, you will need leggings and a top that covers your arms.
Try to avoid clothing that has any metal studs or buttons.
No shoes are to be worn in the unit 44 studio but heel classes may be available in studio 2, all rings removed along with watches and jewelry.
It's always best to make sure you bring a bottle of water with you as classes can be tiring. You may choose to bring grip aids if they will help you, and a cloth to dry your hands.
We have a changing room in unit 44 and you may leave your belongings in during your training time studio 2 dose not have changing facility's but you may change in the studio if you wish belongings are to be left at side of room.
There is no upper age limit on our classes and we encourage people of all ages to give it a try if it interests you.
All of our equipment is tested yearly and checked every day for classes.
We have a recommended maximum limit of 22 stone / 139KG on the apparatuses.
Yes, currently we do not have any under 18 classes running, but we hope to bring them back in the future.
There are no exceptions to this rule currently.

No, at Poleguns we very much believe it takes at least 3 classes to make the decision on if you like the discipline. We recommend signing up to one of our courses to see if the classes are for you.
We are located at Hoults Yard, on Walker Road. When you come into the Yard follow the road round and left to the arch, and we are just underneath there.
Look out for our sign this is our unit 44 studio, for studio 2 from this point walk up the cobbles, then turn left, golf fang will be on your left, keep walking ahead to unit 15 then walk in door next to roller shutter and you will see us second gray door on the right.,
We are within walking distance from Byker metro, and local buses stop nearby. We also have locked storage areas for bicycles.

There are a few situations in which you might be unable to sign up to aerial classes.
Depending on your situation, some classes may be attended during these times, but it's always best to check with your instructor.
You must cancel your class 3 hours before class start if you cant attend or you will lose your credit or payment. .
